I used to think all kinds of things were disgusting, before Peace Corps.

Mostly it's the battery that suffered.

I love my students dearly--

This semester is murdering me dead. I should have a proper update next Sunday, but right now I'm not doing anything but hiding under my blankets and pretending I don't have to go into school tomorrow.

I want to say that there are lots of amazing, inspiring males in Mali who I was delighted to know and work with. But the young and stupid ones tended to react to me like this, especially waaay out in the bush.

I kinda admire their ability to keep using the word 'secret' with such straight faces.
