    The Nepal leeches were your Shadow League from out of Batman. They were toughening you up so that you could return to civilization with a renewed sense of responsibility, tights, and gravely voices.

      I dunno--if Batman got the Shadow League, but all I got were leeches, I'm going to make for a pretty sorry superhero. Probably just be someone's slightly embarrassing, cheesy Golden Age sidekick.
