To be fair, it still baffles me that mother didn't lose at least one of us. Survival instincts were usually kept on a very distant, fire hazarded back burner.
I dunno, I think we did pretty well all things considered. We only set the house on fire once, and we were always careful when we were up on the roof. Except for that time you got into the knife drawer when you were, what, five? I'm pretty sure that traumatized me for life.
