Everyone has their own problems, of course, but these seem to irritate me the most. Maybe because I grew up with them.

  1. I felt that simplicity in America after being in Korea only two weeks. It confused me no end that I said words to people and they understood.

    1. Exactly. Now imagine how bad that would be if you were gone over a year at a time.

  2. You are just not adding enough self challange to it, you have to create just enough chaos to keep it intresting. Plus I would miss my big words, I mean the Koreas (other countries) would not know that I am just creating my own words and just assume it is an America word, that would take the fun out of it.

    1. But I'm lazy! I don't want to have to go out and make my own fun!

I have had to simply my English a lot so people can understand me, which is pretty frustrating, but I've made up for it by coming up with strange new ways to mangle Korean. I'm pretty sure my teacher's giving me lessons just so she can laugh at me.

    2. I have to simplify my English too, with having kids. It is interesting the words they have just picked up and the words that need to be explained. Privileges is a word that had to be explained (once they started to lose them it clicked really fast), but behavior just made sense to them.
