It is a pretty handy language if you're looking to confuse your friends. Almost no one outside of West Africa has ever even heard it before, and so the sounds are pretty alien to them. I've had a couple people actually take a step back while they tried to work out what in the world I just did.
I need to memorize that Bambara line. Beats the heck out of No hablo Ingles.
